In an exciting development for sports enthusiasts, Budapest has been chosen as the host city for the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship. Daily News Hungary<\/a> recently reported that, World Athletics has selected Budapest to host the first World Athletics Ultimate Championship, a biennial event to promote track and field sports.<\/p>\n

World Athletics President Sebastian Coe, who has won two Olympic gold medals in the 1500m, announced this during his visit to Budapest. Sebastian Coe praised Budapest for well-organizing the 2023 World Athletics Championships, influencing its choice for the next event.<\/p>\n

The new championship will bring together the best athletes from around 70 countries to compete in various track and field events. About 400 competitors will aim for the top prizes in a competition expected to be broadcast worldwide.
