Picture yourself enjoying cool ros\u00e9 wines from Rosalia<\/a>‘s best vineyards while taking in the breathtaking architecture of Budapest and the warm Hungarian sun.<\/p>\n

Held in the verdant environs of City Park from May 31 to June 2, 2024, as reported by Budapest by Locals,<\/a> the Rosalia Wine Picnic is more than just a wine festival. Set against the charming backdrop of Vajdahunyad Castle, it combines some of the best of Hungarian wine culture with the fun of outdoor picnicking.<\/p>\n

For visitors who are not familiar with the location, you have the option of riding the M1 (Yellow Line) and exit at the stops at H\u0151s\u00f6k tere or Sz\u00e9chenyi f\u00fcrd\u0151. According to Budapest by Locals<\/a>, the Rosalia Wine Picnic is pen for the following hours: 11:00 to 21:00 on Sunday, 12:00 to 24:00 on Saturday, and 14:00 to 24:00 on Friday.<\/p>\n

The best part is that admission is free, however, for the full experience, sample the wine by buying or renting an official Rosalia glass. A chic St\u00f6lzle crystal glass costs 3,200 HUF, or you can choose to rent one for 1,000 HUF plus a deposit of 2,000 HUF.<\/p>\n

This is a big flavour for a small price tag as this glass will serve as your pass to explore the numerous ros\u00e9s, sparkling wines, and other exquisite options such as aver 60 wineries from all over Hungary.<\/p>\n

Just between us, the Le Troquet’s Rosalia Lounge is one of the festival’s most notable elements this year which is private space doubles as a fun party area at night and a place to unwind during the day.<\/p>\n

Before dancing the night away to DJ sets, guests can drink great French wines and champagnes in this laid-back atmosphere. The Deluxe package, which includes an entry wristband, includes access to the Rosalia Lounge.<\/p>\n

Organizers<\/a> promise a weekend full of fine wine, delectable food, live music, and a variety of age-appropriate activities so, reserve the final weekend of May on your calendars and get ready to welcome summer to the fullest.<\/p>\n
