Well, you might get <\/span>a chance<\/span> to see this and more when you visit the Tibidabo Amusement Park, which is looking to install a 52-meter tall ride named ‘Merl\u00ed’ that will offer unbeatable 360\u00ba views of Barcelona.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tibidabo is an amusement park located on Tibidabo in the Collserola Ridge in Barcelona. Built in<\/span> 1899 by the entrepreneur Salvador Andreu and opened in 1905, it is among the oldest in the world still functioning <\/span>and<\/span> Spain’s longest-running amusement park.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Most of the original rides, some of which date back to the turn of the 20th century, are still in use, and the new addition will also be something to marvel at.<\/span><\/p>\n

By the end of May, the new freefall drop tower dubbed Merl\u00ed will begin to operate. Even though the completion <\/span>is set<\/span> for the end of May, visitors can already see the <\/span>new<\/span> feature in the Barcelona skyline, as the <\/span>assembly of the structure<\/span> <\/span>is already completed<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Visitors will get a chance to experience unparalleled 360\u00ba views of Barcelona before experiencing the exhilarating drop, as the ride will have a height of 52 meters and <\/span>will have the capability to<\/span> lift visitors 500 meters above sea level.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new drop tower will be one of Tibidabo’s main attractions this year and a perfect addition to the <\/span>plenty of<\/span> new features the amusement park has adopted since its new season opening on March 2.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the other notable new features include CreaTibi by Lego Education Space, which <\/span>offers children an opportunity<\/span> to experiment with robotics and science.<\/span><\/p>\n

With Merl\u00ed coming into place, thrill-seekers with a penchant for adrenaline rushes will have a chance to experience it first-hand at the park. <\/span><\/p>\n
