Since daytime activities can limit people from reaching their favorite museums, the European Union introduced a night of museums in Rome and across the country. Saturday, May 18, is the date you need to mark on your calendars. This is the day that Rome\u2019s museums, archaeological sites, monuments, art galleries, libraries, and embassies will be open to the public from 8 pm to 2 am. <\/p>\n

La Notte dei Musei, also known as Rome\u2019s Night of Museums, is a chance for everyone to explore Rome\u2019s gems at night. You have a chance to immerse yourself in Roman art and history and enjoy the local vibe in one night. To make the night more interesting, these places will only charge you one euro for this exclusive experience.<\/p>\n

The participating museums in the city include Mercati di Traiano, Museo dei Fori Imperiali, Museo dell\u2019Ara Pacis, Museo di Roma, Museo Napoleonico, and Capitoline Museums, among others. <\/p>\n

Rome\u2019s famous monuments, such as the Colosseum, the St. Peter Basilica, and the Roman Forum, among others, will be open for one euro. <\/p>\n
