While many visitors flock to Park G\u00fcell to marvel at the architectural genius of its designer, Antoni Gaud\u00ed, a quarter of them consider it an iconic space that embodies the essence of the Catalan capital. <\/span><\/p>\n

To preserve this heritage site and promote sustainable tourism, the park has implemented a maximum capacity of 4.5 million visitors per year, ensuring a harmonious coexistence with the surrounding neighborhood and nearby schools.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before 2020, access was regulated solely for the monument zone of Park G\u00fcell. However, since then, the entire park has adopted controlled access measures to maintain its integrity and enhance the visitor experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Remarkably, Barcelona’s residents accounted for half a million of the park’s visitors in 2023, marking a 37 percent increase compared to the previous year. <\/span><\/p>\n

This statistic underscores the enduring appeal of Gaud\u00ed’s work among locals and tourists alike.<\/span><\/p>\n
