According to one of the longest-serving tour guides in Dublin, Lorcan Collins, \u201cPeople want to have something authentic &#8211; something very personal,\u201d he said, what better way to learn about the history of the Emerald Isle than from a local? Collins further added that while investing in tourist attractions is important, investing in knowledgeable personnel is equally important for human interaction through storytelling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">On Dublin being a tourist magnet, Collins said, \u201cWe have such a wide variety of attractions here &#8211; be it an old book or one of the most famous beers in the world or be it the plethora of walking tours that are all around the city. If you can\u2019t find something to do in Dublin, there\u2019s something wrong with you\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Other than the trendy attractions and landmarks that are the major attractions, the freshness of the food is also commendable. According to a travel journalist, Eoghan Corry, while the cost of a pint has increased, it has not affected the flow of tourists.
