Want to discover tomorrow’s creations? Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elys\u00e9es presents a selection of talents who use codes to innovate and propose new versions of fashion that are more responsible, sustainable, and equally beautiful, using upcycling as a method of choice.<\/p>\n

This method of creating something new from something old, whether it’s reworking a garment or using fabrics lying dormant in the warehouses of the world’s most luxurious brands, could be your next fashion crush.<\/p>\n

If you’re looking for the perfect piece or pieces to round out your wardrobe, Waste will host a pop-up on the store’s second floor from April 9 to 29.<\/p>\n

This young French brand creates limited-edition pieces using dormant stock from top luxury houses. It produces high-quality clothing and accessories that can be worn and passed down for generations.<\/p>\n

During Le Nouveau Cool, Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elys\u00e9es will provide a virtual tour d’horizon of circular design. From April 19 to June 24, the department store will host a pop-up by French upcycling marketplace Reiner, which has specially selected over ten brands to suit all tastes: Maitrepierre, Studio Clandestin, La Fameuse, Marine Henrion, Tricot, Annie Jeans, Kiska Lab, Cordiz, Kabas, Viron, Curvy World Studio, and Valentine Witmeur Lab.<\/p>\n

Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elys\u00e9es and Reiner are arranging a meeting with Alphonse Maitrepierre, the young designer who’s been catching everyone’s attention, proving that department stores can be generous once again.<\/p>\n

Attend a free discussion about upcycling as a new creative process with the designer and one of Reiner’s co-founders on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. <\/p>\n
