The talented Cape Verdean pop singer is returning to Lisbon after Portuguese fans charmed him last year.<\/p>\n

As part of a tour celebrating 30 years of his career, Gil Semedo performed at the Coliseu dos Recreios, Lisbon in March 2023, where fans responded with hearty standing ovations to his captivating voice, striking at the heart of this pop icon.<\/p>\n

To a room packed with fans, the artist declared that he hoped to repeat the feat come 2024. Well, 2024 is here, and so Semedo will once again be at Coliseu dos Recreios on 19th<\/sup> April. Hold on, there is more good news!<\/p>\n

Special Guests to Feature in Gil Semedo\u2019s 2024 Tour<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Gil himself has announced that this time he will not be coming alone, as an entourage of fellow talented musicians will be accompanying him. His music style, dubbed \u201cCaboswing\u201d \u2013 a word he coined himself- is basically a fusion of genres including Funana, Coladeira, and Batuco, with influences of pop, R&B, Zouk and Afro-Caribbean music.<\/p>\n

Accompanying Gil in this year\u2019s tour will be artists that have distinguished themselves in some of these genres, and they include: Singer Adriana Luo (Combining different musical trends) Singer Ze Espanhol (a master of \u201cModern Funana\u201d), Grace Evora (Renowned in cabo zouk), and Beto Dias, famous Cape Verdean musician since the 1990s.<\/p>\n

Tickets are out and ready for purchase<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Fans can now secure a place at the Coliseu dos Recreios, as tickets for the upcoming \u201cCaboswing\u201d are already out. Everyone aged 3 and above is allowed, and ticket prices range from 32, 50\u20ac for foot audiences to 47, 50\u20ac for those who wish to experience Gil\u2019s talent from the front Cabins. The Coliseu dos Recreios is wary of frauds and urges fans to only buy tickets from trustworthy sources, including from their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
