Travelers between Prague and Turkey can celebrate the increase in both regular and seasonal direct flight connections between the two countries. Prague Airport unveiled Izmir and Antalya in Turkey, as part of its new connections for the summer schedule starting end of March 2024. The carrier will operate at least 59 connections a week to Izmir and Antalya.<\/p>\n

More Carriers Join Prague to Turkey Air Route<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be airlines operating between these destinations every day of the week this summer. The flight time will be about 2 hours and 35 minutes.<\/p>\n

The Turkish-German airline, SunExpress announced it will operate a new direct seasonal route between Prague and Izmir this summer. From June 5th the carrier will fly twice a week between the two cities until September 29th, 2024.<\/p>\n

The Czech airline Smartwings is another carrier that will also offer flights between Prague and Izmir starting May 30th<\/sup>. The carrier will fly two times a week between these cities.<\/p>\n

Izmir is a coastline city on the Aegean Sea and Turkey\u2019s third-largest city. Boasting rolling hills and a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild, rainy winters, it is a top tourist destination.<\/p>\n

Prague prides itself on diverse architecture, attractions, and a temperate oceanic climate. Summers are warm and winters are a bit chilly. These favorable conditions have elevated Prague and Izmir to top tourist destinations.<\/p>\n

Travelers on this air route will also have a chance to enjoy budget-friendly tickets as some carriers have tickets inclusive of checked baggage of up to 30kg. Tourism experts hope that some of these advancements will boost tourism activities between Czechia and Turkey.<\/p>\n
