On the 29th of March 2024, passengers in Budapest faced considerable interruptions in their travel plans with Austrian Airlines owing to a strike initiated by the airline\u2019s employees.<\/p>\n

This action by the staff of Austrian Airlines is estimated to affect approximately 50,000 passengers. This development arises from persistent disputes between the airline\u2019s executives and the Vida union, the union body representing the interests of both the flight and ground personnel.<\/p>\n
