A bust of Springtime colors, Czech delicacies, over 1500 performers, and many sales stand exhibitions are expected in this year&#8217;s Easter market festivities.<\/p>\n<p>In anticipation of the Easter markets opening, Prague Mayor Bohuslav Svoboda sends a message of kindness to all Prague residents. He encourages them to show kindness to one another during the Easter festivities.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;These markets are not just about celebrating Easter and spring, but also about promoting environmental awareness and supporting local charities,&#8221; said Eva Pol\u00e1\u010dkov\u00e1.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to a press release issued on March 11, the main markets in the Old Town and Wenceslas Square will attract over 1,500 artists and artistic performers from across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These markets are one of the first signs of spring in our city, bringing with it traditions that belong to it. A record number of performers will perform at the markets, this year there will be more than 1,500 artists from all over Europe,\u201d said Libor Votruba.<\/p>\n<p>These remarks were made by the chairman of the board of directors of Taiko, Libor Votruba. Taiko is the organizer of the Easter markets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Embracing Sustainable Decorations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The organizers of this year\u2019s celebrations are walking the talk of sustainability through eco-friendly models. Decorations are from recycled material, while refreshments will be in fully decomposable cups and cutlery. Eva Pol\u00e1\u010dkov\u00e1 the Decoled company representative shared her sentiments on sustainability, &#8220;These markets are not just about celebrating Easter and spring, but also about promoting environmental awareness and supporting local charities&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Market visitors will enjoy endless traditional Czech treats and children&#8217;s workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visitors to the Easter markets can taste different traditional Czech delicacies. Some Easter specials are the Easter-themed green beer, Czech sausages, and Easter lamb. Besides, traditional handicrafts and souvenirs are up for sale. Proceeds from these activities will go to different charity associations.<\/p>\n<p>There will be workshops held in the Easter markets that will offer children diverse activities. Children can enjoy musical presentations by choirs, folk groups, and more.
