This year\u2019s St Patrick’s Day celebration is expected to be bigger with over 50,000 people expected to attend. The celebrations will start with a parade from central London and end at Trafalgar Square. The parade, which will be along the 1.5-mile route, will feature Irish bands, dancers, and various pageantry elements. There will also be the London St. Patrick’s Day Run, tracing a 5k route around Hyde Park.<\/p>\n

Several organizations will be hosting a variety of events ranging from comedy shows and cabaret performances to themed club nights. Among them is Passyunk Avenue, the notable American-style dive bar located in Fitzrovia, which is embracing the Always Sunny theme this year by transforming into Paddy’s Pub. Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character from the American sitcom and take part in fun activities such as the ‘Find the Leprechaun’ pursuit.<\/p>\n

In London’s Bethnal Green, The Sun Tavern is set to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a whiskey-fueled extravaganza. The event will feature a vast collection of Irish whiskey, complimentary oysters from Oyster Boy, and music from Carlos O’Connell of Fontaines DC. The celebration promises to be a memorable one for whiskey enthusiasts and music lovers alike.<\/p>\n

According to the St Patrick’s Festival website, Irish drag queen and activist Panti Bliss is the Grand Marshal of the 2024 St Patrick\u2019s Day parade. In previous years, there has been a Giant St Patrick, a larger-than-life mechanical version of the saint. The festivities start at noon and wind up around 6 pm.<\/p>\n

For this year\u2019s St Parick\u2019s Day, London is once again hosting a big St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival. Subsequently, participants convene at the Horse and Groom pub for a social gathering where Guinness will be served, with a complimentary pint included in the ticket and the Six Nations will be broadcast for viewing.<\/p>\n
