One of the most anticipated draft prospects in sports history, Victor Wembanyama will be joining a lucky team come June 22, 2023, when the NBA draft takes place.<\/p>\n

Victor\u2019s hype has been growing day by day especially after the May 16, 2023 draft lottery saw the San Antonio Spurs win the first overall pick in the upcoming draft.<\/p>\n

With that in mind and Victor projected to be the first overall pick, San Antonio looks like Victor\u2019s possible destination.<\/p>\n

The news of San Antonio Spurs winning the NBA draft first pick brought joy to the city and the entire basketball world with that being a synonymous step to rebuilding a team that has been struggling for some time now.<\/p>\n

Since the retirement of their star player, Tim Duncan, the Spurs have failed to find significant success with their last playoff appearance coming in 2020.<\/p>\n

He responded, \u201d Aah, you know\u2026 team player, I am gonna make everything to win as many games as I can and I am tryna win a ring ASAP so be ready.\u201d<\/p>\n

So much is expected from the French phenom and coming in with expectations and all eyes on him, Wembanyama is expected to perform instantly.<\/p>\n

Most people believe that Wembanyama will get his footing at the Spurs at least instantly and this has been seconded by Celtics legend.<\/p>\n
