Victor is projected to be the first overall pick in the upcoming 2023 NBA Draft set for June 22, 2023, and the buzz around him has been compared to that LeBron James got back in 2003 when he was getting into the NBA.<\/p>\n
With the San Antonio Spurs having won the first pick during the NBA Draft Lottery on May 16, 2023, Wemby for sure knows his next destination after his stint in the French LNB Pro A playing for Metropolitans 92.<\/p>\n
With the LNB Pro A playoffs underway, Wembanyama-led Metropolitans have qualified for the finals in which they will be going head to head with Monaco.<\/p>\n
Victor has been instrumental for the Metropolitans 92 all through the season averaging 21.6 points per game, 10.5 rebounds per game and 3.1 blocks per game and leading them to a second-place finish in the LNB Pro A.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s no doubt that Victor has been getting shoutouts from already experienced NBA players and legends with Magic Johnson calling him \u201cThe best player.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stephen Curry has referred to him as a \u201c2K Create-A-Player\u201d and so many players compliment him on his exquisite talents.<\/p>\n
One comment however stood out from legendary LeBron James who says Wembanyama is more like an Alien than like a Unicorn.<\/p>\n
LeBron is quoted,\u201d Everybody has been a unicorn over the last few years, but he’s more like an alien.<\/p>\n
No one has ever seen anyone as tall as he is but as fluid and as graceful as he is out on the floor.<\/p>\n
At -his size-, his ability to put the ball on the floor, shoot step-back jumpers out of the post, step-back threes, catch-and-shoot threes and block shots. He’s for sure a generational talent.\u201d<\/p>\n
LeBron James reckons that it is true that Wembanyama is indeed a generational talent and a Unicorn is not an appropriate title but an Alien is.<\/p>\n
Being called an Alien will for sure raise eyebrows but Wembanyama lives up to that with his stature and playing prowess.<\/p>\n
Victor is 7’4″ tall, has an 8-foot wingspan, and makes accurate three-point shots. He is renowned for both his skill and general playing approach.<\/p>\n
Victor will undoubtedly find it simpler to complete tasks that other players will find challenging because of his alien-like height.<\/p>\n
