The stars fans could not wait to see how the film would unravel. The sixth installment of the satirical slasher franchise, Scream, will mark the first time Neve Campbell will not play Sidney Prescott. Jenna Ortega who was back in Scream 2022, told fans that there will be plenty to keep them interested in the next film.<\/p>\n<p>Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of <em>Scream 6 <\/em>had hinted that Jenna Ortega&#8217;s Wednesday character would be referenced in the upcoming slasher sequel. The sequel follows Ghostface\u2019s comeback to the screens as he or she tries to identify and find fresh victims to kill.<\/p>\n<p>Ortega once revealed on an interview that Panettiere\u2019s Kirby Reed was one of her favorite characters in the <em>Scream<\/em> franchise for a very long time. The star further revealed the comeback of the character on the screens was really exiting for her.<\/p>\n<p>In another interview with EW, Jenna revealed that the film follows the life of Tara, which is her character and how she tries to avoid her childhood trauma while also trying to be a normal college student. The franchise was released back on the 10<sup>th<\/sup> of March in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The fifth Scream film, which starring Wednesday&#8217;s Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Dylan Minnette, Jack Quaid, and Mikey Madison, was released in theaters on January 14, 2022. Scream 6 on the other hand is quite eventful with the return of Ghostface and this time, the assailant is more vengeful than ever.<\/p>\n<p>Except for Scream 6, all the films in the series are set in the tranquil California suburb of Woodsboro and follow Sidney Prescott and others as they struggle to defend themselves against a constant stream of murders. This new sequel is however in New York and the survivors must again reengage in a life-or-death struggle.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Carpenter, Tara&#8217;s older half-sister, Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding play the twins Mindy and Chad Meeks-Martin are the four survivors who must go about with their lives while also trying to escape from Ghostface. The 20-year-old star take up the role of Tara Carpenter in the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>Hayden Panettiere, who took up the role of Kirby Reed reappears in this years\u2019 scream. Hayden reveals in an interview with EW that she has advanced from the previous film however she maintains that Kirby is still the same in the show. The question that runs through you mind all through the film, is who the killer or killers are.<\/p>\n<p>The idea that this time it was three Ghost faces was quite intriguing since it had never been done in the previous films. At the very end Sam picks up one of the killer\u2019s costumes and stabs the detective severally and finally kills him by stabbing him in the eye.
