Victor Wembanyama is the highest prospect to ever declare for the NBA draft and the world can\u2019t stop wondering how he will fare when he finally joins the NBA.<\/p>\n

He is projected to be the first overall pick in the upcoming draft set for Thursday, June 22, 2023, and with the San Antonio Spurs having the chance to pick first it\u2019s safe to say that San Antonio could be Victor\u2019s possible destination.<\/p>\n

Coming into the NBA in his red-hot form after averaging 21.6 points per game with 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.1 blocks the entire season, Victor will be looking to extend his prowess to the NBA.<\/p>\n

Right after the draft lottery held on May 16, 2023, happened and the Spurs got the first pick, Wembanyama promised to hop in quickly and win a ring ASAP.<\/p>\n

Wembanyama was asked what the Spurs will get when they pick him in an interview with ESPN shortly after the Spurs were awarded the top overall pick.<\/p>\n

He said,\u201d Aah, you know\u2026 team player, I am gonna make everything to win as many games as I can and I am tryna win a ring ASAP so be ready.\u201d<\/p>\n

All eyes are set on the prize but the latest revelations say otherwise, there is something that could stop Wembanyama from reaching his goals.<\/p>\n

Talking to TMZ Sports, former basketball player Gilbert Arenas said, \u201cIf he has that much hype on him, then he\u2019s really probably that good.<\/p>\n
