Aleksandar Mitrovic’s woes from the penalty spot continued<\/h3>\n

On the last day of the season, Manchester United overcame a deficit to defeat Fulham and clinch third place in the Premier League thanks to a penalty save from David de Gea.<\/p>\n

When Kenny Tete outran Marcus Rashford to stab Willian’s corner into the near post, Fulham seized the lead. When Casemiro fouled Tom Cairney in the box, they had the chance to make it 2-0, but David De Gea saved Aleksandar Mitrovic’s penalty with an excellent save.
\nJadon Sancho scored the equalizer for United after Alejandro Garncho hit the underside of the crossbar. United comfortably hung on to clinch the three points after Fred inserted Bruno Fernandes, who dinked over Bernd Leno to make it 2-1.<\/p>\n
