From Being Injury-prone To Being NBA Highest Draft Prospect<\/h2>\n

Who would have thought such a young kid would have blossomed into what has been dubbed the greatest prospect in team sports history?<\/p>\n

Wembanyama is a name that resonates with all across the world, from Le Chesnay, France to the top of the basketball world and the tricky sports universe. It has been quite the journey for the spirited lad.<\/p>\n

Everyone who knows the Frenchman has an idea of what he possesses and what he is capable of in future.<\/p>\n

His toughness and agility to do the extraordinary have set him apart from the regular basketball player and this has helped him carve a name for himself in the sports world.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t know, Victor is the French prodigy who is projected to be the first overall pick in the June 22, 2023 NBA draft and the world can\u2019t stop wondering how he is going to fare in the NBA.<\/p>\n

NBA franchises are drooling at the possibility of landing Wembanyama and we can see why. Victor stands 7\u20194\u2033 tall, has an 8-foot wingspan, and shoots the three-point arc with accuracy.<\/p>\n

He is well-known for his ability as well as his overall playing style. Victor\u2019s alien-like height will undoubtedly make it easier for him to complete tasks that other players will find difficult.<\/p>\n

Despite his height, he can outrun the defence and make the shot due to his strong ball-handling skills and quick first step. His shooting is accurate and lethal beyond the arc, so he\u2019ll adapt quickly in the NBA.<\/p>\n

For the past year or so, Victor has had the spotlight with his playing style and being a pivotal part of the Metropolitans 92 led them to a second finish in the LNB Pro A.<\/p>\n

You\u2019d think he has had it easy all through to be where he is at now but that is not true. He has had his fair share of shortcomings which could have otherwise hindered him from being in the position he is in.<\/p>\n

Victor\u2019s injury is a not-so-new topic even though he hasn’t had any sidelining injury at Metropolitans 92.<\/p>\n

The case is different for him while he was at Nanterre 92 in the 2020\/2021 season. He was out for three months after suffering a fractured fibula.<\/p>\n

In the season that followed, he played in just 33 of the 76 viable games, missing the playoffs because of a muscle problem.<\/p>\n

He also skipped over two months in 2021 as a result of a bone contusion as well as a finger fracture that excluded him for four weeks.<\/p>\n

All these shortcomings did not stop him from coming up on top and overcoming that to be where he is only leaves so many questions unanswered, who would have thought?<\/p>\n

Now at the top of the mountain being one of the highest prospected basketball players and overcoming what could have possibly derailed his career and also looking to get his red-hot form in the NBA, Victor is a living testimony of toughness and perseverance.<\/p>\n

Debates may wager on if at all he will survive the NBA intensity but we can all agree that the young lad is destined for greatness.<\/p>\n

Armored with every tool possible to play the sport Victor can only soar higher and wherever he lands, they shall for sure be witnesses of what greatness truly is.<\/p>\n
