Just right after the Spurs got the first pick, Wembanyama was interviewed for his opinion.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with ESPN Wembanyama was asked what will the Spurs get when they pick him and he said,\u201d Aah, you know\u2026 team player, I am gonna make everything to win as many games as I can and I am tryna win a ring ASAP so be ready.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Promising too early proves confidence in the young lad as he comes fresh off as the backbone of the Metropolitans 92 and looking to also be pivotal for the San Antonio Spurs.<\/p>\n<p>Just like LeBron James, being the first overall pick comes with a price and the list is endless for what the world expects Wembanyama to achieve during his time in the NBA.<\/p>\n<p>Wembanyama being hopeful for a ring with the Spurs and prepping them to get ready shows that he has set his eyes on the prize.<\/p>\n<p>Victor is also expected to win MVP, be an All-Star and win multiple championships to establish his name among the top ballers ever.<\/p>\n<p>With Wojnarowski calling Wembanyama the greatest prospect in team sports, the expectations are high.<\/p>\n<p>Not only will Wembanyama be looking to win rings for his team, but he will also be up in attaining accolades as he goes by.<\/p>\n<p>One NBA analyst said that Wembanyama is supposed to have a career like LeBron James\u2019, Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to be considered successful.<\/p>\n<p>He will otherwise be a failure if not. American sports analyst Chris Broussard said, \u201cIf Wemby is AD, KD or Hakeem, that&#8217;s a disappointment.
