French Prodigy Excited To Know His Future Team<\/h2>\n

Time flies and nothing lasts forever. However good something is, it surely must come to an end. All we can do is cherish it while it is still here with us. Wembanyama is doing just that (Cherishing) during his final days with Metropolitans 92 in the LNB Pro A.<\/p>\n

Victor is one of the most highly prospected basketball players ever to get to the NBA. Victor is getting hype which has been compared to the one LeBron James was getting back in 2003 when he was getting into the NBA.<\/p>\n

Wembanyama is projected to be the first overall pick come June 22, 2023, the date set for the NBA Draft and fans can\u2019t wait to see what team he ends up with.<\/p>\n

Although every team would want to draft him, only one will have the chance to get him and as we speak, Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs have the highest chance of landing the number one overall pick at 14%. The order of the pick will however be determined on May 16, 2023, when the NBA Draft lottery will happen.<\/p>\n

Even though Victor is bracing to enter the NBA, he plays a pivotal role for the Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92 where he plays Center. He has been a key member of the team and he has ensured the team sits comfortably in second place in the LNB Pro A just behind Monaco.<\/p>\n

Victor has been having some of the best games this season averaging 21.8 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
\nPlaying like that in the league and averaging such numbers just shows how good he is and the red-hot form he is in surely makes the potential team to land him excited.<\/p>\n

Victor\u2019s form might be good in France but it looks like time is running out as the season is ending. Metropolitans still has only two games left and that would mean the last games Victor will play out of the NBA as the NBA Draft 2023 is coming up.<\/p>\n

May 16 is the day that Victor will have his last game with Metropolitans 92 and this will mean the end of one chapter of his young career to the beginning of a new chapter that will begin on June 22, 2023, when he gets to find out where he lands.<\/p>\n

France and the USA are different locations and the basketball landscapes in these countries vary from one to the other. As Victor’s tenure in France ends, he will be looking to make his inaugural impression playing in the USA and the world will be expecting nothing but fireworks.<\/p>\n

Victor Wembanyama played two exhibition games in the USA against the NBA G-League\u2019s Ignite while playing for Metropolitans in October 2022.<\/p>\n

Playing in the USA will be a new challenge for Victor but he seems ready to be done with it, afterall he has already been playing professionally at Metropolitans and adapting to the NBA would be as easy as pie.<\/p>\n
