Diogo Jota scored a dramatic 94th-minute winner for Liverpool  Denying Spurs Comeback<\/h3>\n

In the chaos that followed Diogo Jota’s last-gasp winner in Liverpool’s 4-3 victory over Tottenham on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp looked to twist his hamstring.<\/p>\n

Curtis Jones and Luis Diaz scored within the first 5 minutes to put the Reds up 3-0 against their troubled visitors at Anfield. In the 15th minute, Mohamed Salah added a third goal from the penalty spot, leaving Spurs with a mountain to climb.<\/p>\n

However, the Londoners, led by interim head coach Ryan Mason, responded before halftime with a goal from Harry Kane. Spurs appeared to have clinched an unexpected point with late second-half goals from Son Heung-min and Richarlison before Jota came on in the 94th minute.<\/p>\n

Jota’s late score enraged Anfield, prompting Klopp to race down the touchline and scold the fourth official. However, it soon became clear that the Reds manager had inflicted injury on himself, as he limped back to his dugout clutching his hamstring.<\/p>\n

Referee Paul Tierney immediately booked Klopp for his outrageous behavior. However, Sky Sports commentator Gary Neville claimed that the German should have been sent off for his touchline behavior.<\/p>\n

The Manchester United icon said of the goal: “That is the most Tottenham thing that you will ever see. Lucas Moura should just clear it up the pitch, he plays the most aimless pass back inside – I\u2019m not sure whether it\u2019s to the goalkeeper or to Romero – but he gets in that channel, Jota, and he fires it into that far corner.<\/p>\n

“Fraser Forster comes out, maybe a little bit too far, but Jurgen Klopp – a reprieve for Liverpool – but oh he\u2019ll get in a bit of trouble for that towards the fourth official, and he\u2019s pulled his hamstring!<\/p>\n

Neville then touched on Klopp’s antics, adding: “Jurgen Klopp should have been sent off for what he did to the fourth official but, like we say, he won\u2019t care. He lives on the edge.”<\/p>\n

Speaking after the match, Klopp said of his injury: “I’m not sure it’s a hamstring. It could be an adductor as well. It’s painful.”<\/p>\n

He also took aim at Tierney, telling Sky Sports: “How they can give a foul on Mohamed Salah [before Spurs’ third goal]. We have our history with [Paul] Tierney, I really don\u2019t know what he has against us, he has said there is no problems but that cannot be true.<\/p>\n

“How he looks at me, I don\u2019t understand it. In England nobody has to clarify these situations, it\u2019s really tricky and hard to understand. My celebration was unnecessary, which is fair but what he said to me when he gave me the yellow card is not ok.”<\/p>\n
