The PL ditching Skysport and BT Sports<\/h3>\n

The Premier League is considering dropping their multi-platform partners such as Sky Sports and BT Sport in the future and instead showing games on their own platform.<\/p>\n

There will most likely be only one more multi-partner arrangement before the Premier League eliminates the middlemen and runs the show itself. It will be disastrous for Sky, which helped create the Premier League into the financial behemoth it is now after joining forces in 1992.<\/p>\n

It will be a license to print money for the Premier League, making their clubs even richer, but it will be a blessing for supporters who will have to pay more money for extra subscriptions as more platforms display sport.
\nThat is yet in the future and will not help supporters who are currently forced to pay for Sky Sports, BT Sport, and Amazon Prime in order to watch every Premier League game.<\/p>\n

Several networks, like DAZN and Disney+, are rumored to be vying for the next deal, while Viaplay televised recent internationals involving Wales, Scotland, and the Republic of Ireland.<\/p>\n

It costs roughly \u00a3100 per month for fans to watch all of the football on TV, while those who attend live games suffer more antisocial kick-off hours – a double whammy for the paying public.<\/p>\n

Kevin Miles, chief executive of the Football Supporters Association said: \u201cThere\u2019s no question that supporters are increasingly feeling the financial strain. We\u2019re not untouched by the general cost of living crisis but the more platforms there are, the more subscriptions we have to find. For those fans who want to watch every one of the club\u2019s televised games, the costs are really starting to mount.\u201d<\/p>\n

Former Aston Villa forward Gabby Agbonlahor thinks enough is enough on the increasing number of subscriptions.
\nHe admitted he didn\u2019t watch Scotland\u2019s recent European Championship qualifying victory against Spain on Viaplay. \u201cI didn\u2019t watch the game because there are that many different channels now that football is on.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got Viaplay \u00a315, BT Sport \u00a330, Sky Sports \u00a324, Amazon \u00a39. You\u2019ve got Premier Sports, I can\u2019t keep up!\u201d<\/p>\n

If the Premier League are able to go it alone they will also be placed on the spot over kick-off times because it\u2019s the broadcasters who currently carry the can over the scheduling.<\/p>\n
