It was reported earlier in March that clubs in Turkey had made loan offers for the forward. However, The Athletic have now said that United rejected these approaches amid the continuation of their investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Greenwood\u2019s future at Old Trafford remains up in the air, but the club is thought to be weighing up his return to the first team. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mason Greenwood has been warned that he will not be able to return to Manchester United training until at least next season, as the club’s internal investigation into his arrest on rape accusations is unlikely to be finished before the summer. Mason is said to have held extensive meetings with Manchester United officials in recent weeks, emphasizing his wish to return as soon as possible and his commitment to staying at Old Trafford. <\/span><\/p>\n
