This is an unnerving and captivating look at the origins of the record-shattering game from the late 80’s. Why you ask? It is a superbly crafted movie that plays like a Cold War espionage thriller shining a truly frightening light on the underbelly of the subversions and lengths the Soviet Union’s KGB would go to control the lives of their citizens.<\/p>\n

Actor Nikita Efremov as <\/span>Alexey Pajitnov, <\/span>brilliantly portrays the citizen that invented the game and is persecuted by the government yet perseveres against all odds.<\/p>\n

Taron Egerton as the central character Henk Rogers creates a superb persona-driven to succeed based on his unwavering quest to do what is right and protect the inventor.<\/p>\n

Not be overlooked are Robert Allam as brutally conniving media mogul Robert Maxwell (Ghislaine Maxwell’s father – she of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal fame) and Toby Jones (Truman Capote in Infamous) as Robert Stein, who first discovers Tetris’ potential business opportunity.<\/p>\n
