So… The streets of the internet are raging mad war after Selena Gomez found herself in a battle between fans she didn’t even know was cooking in the first place. It’s all a little bit silly, to be honest, given how this saga started with eyebrows. Freaking eyebrows, for crying out loud. That’s why I’ll say this with all the confidence I can master, Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber are even the silliest and most immature human beings I’ve ever heard of. Why? Because all this drama started with them.<\/p>\n

So the tea is that Selena, on Wednesday (22nd February 2023), shared a TikTok video where she was showing off her perfectly laminated eyebrows. She then made some self-deprecating humor by commenting, “I accidentally laminated my brows too much.” I mean, it was just a caption for a video. Nothing too serious.<\/p>\n

In fact, she was literally making fun of herself. Anyway, hours later, Kylie Jenner posted an Instagram story with the words, “this was a mistake?” Written on her eyebrows. So clearly, she was low-key throwing some sort of shade at Selena. Oooh! When I tell you Selena’s fans went crazy?! They truly did. As if that’s not enough, she also shared a screenshot of a facetime call she had had with Hailey Bieber, which also focused on their eyebrows.<\/p>\n

People were not amused at all because this was cyberbullying. Remembering what a sweetheart Selena is, I couldn’t agree more that this was not cool. It was really, really childish on their part and they should know better. Other women are busy working hard to be career women and relevant to society and these women are busy making content to throw shade at another fellow woman because of what? Eyebrows??? Really?! They should do better. It’s completely immature.<\/p>\n

Although Selena tried to deflate the whole situation by saying they’re friends with Kylie and she’s sure there’s no big deal to the whole thing, all it did is prove to people what a good and mature person she is. That’s why she got a whole army standing behind her. In fact, she’s now the most followed female celebrity on social media. Unfortunately, she said early this week that she would deactivate her social media accounts because the whole thing has gotten out of hand. Cyberbullying is not cool! Now a very innocent act has made the poor girl just want to go under for a while and have peace. These two women are quite a disappointment, I must say. But then again, they have that ‘mean girl’ vibe around them, so it’s not a surprise.<\/p>\n
